Content Policy
Last updated: May 31, 2026
SSoundWorks exists to give power to creators. To keep the community safe, every user must follow these rules. We enforce them through automated review, human moderation and user reports.
1. Zero Tolerance
The following content is removed immediately and the responsible account is permanently banned and reported to authorities when applicable:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexualization of minors.
- Real violence, terrorism, or content that promotes or organizes harm.
- Human trafficking, sexual exploitation or non-consensual intimate content.
- Threats of violence or doxxing.
2. Not Allowed
- Hate speech or attacks based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or nationality.
- Harassment, bullying or coordinated attacks.
- Nudity or sexually explicit material.
- Promotion of self-harm, suicide or eating disorders.
- Sale of illegal drugs, weapons, or regulated goods.
- Scams, phishing, fake giveaways, financial fraud or pyramid schemes.
- Misinformation that can cause real-world harm (health, elections).
- Copyright infringement, leaked unreleased music, or unauthorized samples.
3. AI-Generated Music
SSoundWorks is built for AI music creators — this platform is designed exclusively for artists who create music using AI tools. To keep the community trustworthy, everyone must follow these rules:
- Honest labeling. When you upload a track that was generated, voiced or assisted by AI in any meaningful way, you must enable the AI-generated toggle on the upload screen. Mislabeling AI work as human-made (or vice versa) is a violation.
- Rights to your inputs. You must own or have a license to the prompts, lyrics, samples, stems and reference material you used.
- No unauthorized voice cloning. Do not clone another artist's voice, likeness or vocal identity without their explicit written consent. This is a serious violation and will result in immediate removal and possible ban.
- No impersonation. Do not release AI music under another real artist's name or in a way that misleads listeners into thinking it is officially theirs.
4. Respect Other Users
- No spam in comments, messages or gift events.
- No buying or selling fake followers, plays or likes.
- Use the Report and Block tools in any profile or message if someone breaks the rules.
5. Enforcement
Depending on severity, we may: remove the content, restrict features, suspend the account, or permanently ban and report to authorities. Repeated minor violations escalate.
6. Appeals
If you believe an action against your account was a mistake, email appeals@ssoundworks.com within 30 days with your username and a brief explanation.
7. Minors on the Platform
SSoundWorks is a strict 13+ platform. Children under 13 are not allowed to create or use an account under any circumstances. Parental or guardian consent does not override this rule — under-13 accounts will be deactivated and deleted as soon as we are made aware of them. Teen accounts (13–17) default to private/protected settings, with restricted direct messages, limited recommendations and reduced discoverability. Adults should never:
- Initiate private contact with users they know or suspect to be minors outside of normal public interactions.
- Request personal information, images, video calls or off-platform contact from a minor.
- Send gifts, coins or money to a minor in exchange for content, attention or contact.
Violations are removed immediately, the account is permanently banned, and we report to NCMEC and applicable authorities. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle minors' data.
Community help — reporting underage accounts. No automated age check is 100% foolproof. We rely on creators, listeners, parents and the wider community to help us identify accounts that may belong to a child under 13. If you suspect an underage account, please report it via the in-app Report button (choose "Underage user") or email trust@ssoundworks.com and copy privacy@ssoundworks.com. Reports are confidential and we will not share the reporter's identity with the reported account.
8. Report Content
Use the in-app report button or write to trust@ssoundworks.com. For copyright issues, see our Terms (DMCA).
